According to Wenzhou University International Student Regulations and Management Handbook and Wenzhou university International Student scholarship regulation, the application of 2016-2017 academic year Wenzhou University Chinese Course Student Enrollment Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as" Class II scholarship"), the Outstanding International Student Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as "Class III scholarship") and the individual scholarship of international student are hereby notified as follows:

一、Application and quota

（一）Class II scholarships applicants shall be international students who study the Chinese language course in our university since the autumn of 2017.

（二）Class III scholarships applicants shall be international students who have been studying for degree (excluding the students who had already wonthe Chinese Government Scholarship, the National Confucius Institute Scholarship or the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship, and the President of the University of Wenzhou Scholarship) or the Chinese course students who have been studying continuously for more than one term in our university.

（三）Eligible applicants shall be those international students, who have not received the Chinese Government Scholarship, the National Confucius Institute Scholarship or the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship, and the President of the University of Wenzhou Scholarship. Each student may concurrently apply for no more than three scholarships per academic year, but the students who have obtained the Learning Excellence Scholarship are not allowed to also apply for Learning Progress Scholarship.

（四）According to the document of Wenzhou university, the allocation of relevant scholarships is shown in annex 5.

二、Application conditions

（一）The applicant shall have a corresponding academic degree certificate.

（二）The applicant must have foreign nationality, hold a foreign passport, be friendly to China, and be physically and mentally healthy.

（三）The applicant must perform well, neither with absenteeism and other violations of discipline rules and regulations in the university, nor with behaviors in violation of Chinese laws and regulations outside the university.

（四）The applicant shall have excellent academic result.

（五）The applicant shall respect teachers, work in unity, help one another, and actively participate in various activities organized by the university or the college.

（六）The applicant must complete the sign-in, registration and payment procedures as per the deadline as stipulated by the university.

（七）The applicant has not received any other scholarships from the Chinese government at the same time.

（八）If having been under disciplinary action by relevant departments of the university at the academic year for violating the rules and discipline of the university, the applicant will be withdrew of the qualification of applying or being selected for various types of scholarships for the same year.

四、Application and review procedures

（一）Personal application or professional college recommendation, 16^thNovember（Thursday)—23^rdNovember（Thursday）.

International students who are eligible shall submit the application forms for the paper and electronicversion of the respective scholarships.

（二）Preliminary examination byAssessment Working Group:24^thNovember（Friday)—30^thNovember（Thursday）

Assessment Working Groupwill collect and organize the application materials, and solicit opinions from the professional colleges for the class III and individual scholarship lists.

（三）Review：4th December（Monday）

The Department of overseas Students education and management will organize a review through the members of Assessment Working Group, comprehensive considering the applicant's academic performance, behavior and ability quality and the opinions from the professional college, to determine the Drafting name list.

（四）Publicity:5^thDecember（Tuesday）—11st December（Monday）. The results of the evaluation will be publicized within 5 working days throughout the university.

（五）Dispatch:In the middle of December. If there’s no objection after the publicity , Unified dispatch will be made by the university.
